    Pathway for multimedia

    Hi everyone,

does anyone know the pathway for music/videos/pictures? Like the pathway in windows (x:/private/docomo/etc/etc). I tried to put some files into my microsd then try to read it from the phone but no luck. I'm using sh03a. Any help is appreciated.

Music is done by MTP mode, Videos is in the SD_VIDEO folder with the file names as MOLxxx.mp4, picture would be in the STILL Folder in the PRIVATE Sub-folders, with names STILxxxx.jpg.

So, music can only be done through MTP mode? My computer doesn't want to detect my phone at all. I've tried to install the drivers off my CD, they just say connect the phone, then do nothing when I do. My computer just throws up a "USB Device is unrecognized blah blah blah" I've tried to do MTP mode -> WMP11 and doesn't detect it. I've tried to run it though as a Mass Media Device and it still doesn't get detected. I just ordered a USB to memory card reader to manually put the files on. It doesn't make sense because I have Windows XP Pro SP3.

So there's no folder that I can just drag and drop into for music?

I did research and did EVERYTHING (short from reformatting my computer) they said to do and nothing worked. My computer doesn't detect it period, and it doesn't want to.

Via microSD is probably possible but just too much instructions to read and stuff like that. I was too lazy to read any of it so I just used the USB cable method. It was quick and easy.

probably able to convert to aac,
    from hwz
    3. AAC/3GP

    Requirements:
    - 3gp converter
    - microSD card reader or USB cable (set to microSD mode)

Use Calcium 3gp converter to convert to HE/HE2 AAC (extension 3gp).

    Drop ur files into:
    PRIVATE => DOCOMO => MMFILE => MUDxxx

If u didn't see the MMFILE folder inside DOCOMO folder. Use ur computer to create one and its child directory, for e.g: MMFILE => MUD001, MUD002, MUD003, etc.

U also have to rename ur files to MMF001.3gp, MMF002.3gp, MMF003.3gp, etc. If not the phone can’t see them at all.
Besides, ur most likely wont be able to view the album art.

There's no perceivable difference between WMA, AAC & SD-Audio on the phone, especially when ur using earphones. Unless ur using $500 professional earphones.

Calcium 3gp converter doesnt work for me. It converts it all into mp4.
Then i tried to download a 3gp converter and no luck. After converting, I putted the files in MMFILE and in MUD001. Still cant see it.
