It's definitely out of my price range I am now an Android convert anyway, while I still love Windows Mobile (I have it on my Verizon Omnia), I have a feeling all my smartphones from now on will be running Android.

I think he was referring to upgradability. Didn't HTC make a statement at some point that all future handsets would be 6.5 upgrade compatible? Maybe they were talking only about HTC branded devices directly. The custom versions sold by carriers aren't necessarily covered if that's the case...

This isn't OSX - iPhone edition kid. That never stopped XDA. I think this point is moot. If you are worried about this, don't buy a WinMo phone.

if $25 data is required, even buying in MSRP, I'll get Pharos
but all reps told me...not required if I buy in MSRP

Called my local store. They could only confirm that it would be out in the next few weeks. No demo units and no word on pricing. I know there's nothing new there, but I'm excited and want to get one.
