Just recently or earlier this year? As you can see in this screenshot, an $18 upgrade fee is added for a non-contract upgrade:Originally Posted by Scottish Skyedance

T-MOBILE, YOU'RE STUPID!!!!!![]()
Well it looks like the official specs are now showing on the FCC site for the European version. It has Google Maps, FM Radio, TV Out, and Secondary Camera just to name a few. Wonder how many of these T-Mobile will disable on the RHOD210...

I'd be willing to bet that the FM radio gets turned off.Originally Posted by Xarlon
I think Sprint kept the TV Out enabled in the original Touch Pro. I hope Tmobile keeps it enabled in the TP2.
If its only disabled in software, you know who will be coming to the rescue...Originally Posted by blacknoi

I am more interested whether I can install Asian (HK or Taiwan) version ROM on TP II without losing band IVOriginally Posted by efjay
but don't HTC products use separate radio ROM?!
You should be able to just flash the PDA part without the radio, IIRC from owning an HTC device.Originally Posted by Scottish Skyedance
Yes, the radio has its own ROM.Originally Posted by efjay
Just a rumour for now but I see this as likely to be true, as I thought. Really wouldnt make sense for a device like the TP2 not to require a data plan. Though I guess it really isnt that bad as its only $24.99 but there are obviously those who would rather have the option to buy without a data plan.Originally Posted by Antenna

Why would a data plan be required?Originally Posted by efjay
I don't mind it requires data option, but I really care can I use VPN with it
hopefully it won't become another G1
but I'd wait for a couple of months to see the feedback first, as I have to save money for it
