No mention of GF $19.99 sidekick unlimited data/text add on getting removed for Sidekick LX 3G users.

too bad I already used my upgrade, and only get about $50 discount
Dont forget the $18 upgrade fee really makes it almost equal
$18 upgrade fee doesn't apply to MSRP

Just recently or earlier this year? As you can see in this screenshot, an $18 upgrade fee is added for a non-contract upgrade:

Well it looks like the official specs are now showing on the FCC site for the European version. It has Google Maps, FM Radio, TV Out, and Secondary Camera just to name a few. Wonder how many of these T-Mobile will disable on the RHOD210...

I'd be willing to bet that the FM radio gets turned off.

I think Sprint kept the TV Out enabled in the original Touch Pro. I hope Tmobile keeps it enabled in the TP2.

I am more interested whether I can install Asian (HK or Taiwan) version ROM on TP II without losing band IV
but don't HTC products use separate radio ROM?!

You should be able to just flash the PDA part without the radio, IIRC from owning an HTC device.

Yes, the radio has its own ROM.

Just a rumour for now but I see this as likely to be true, as I thought. Really wouldnt make sense for a device like the TP2 not to require a data plan. Though I guess it really isnt that bad as its only $24.99 but there are obviously those who would rather have the option to buy without a data plan.

Why would a data plan be required?

I don't mind it requires data option, but I really care can I use VPN with it
hopefully it won't become another G1
but I'd wait for a couple of months to see the feedback first, as I have to save money for it
