    Hehe,..okay

Bluespoon Digital uses both headset and handsfree profiles.

T610 uses both profiles as well,..depending on "action".

If we take the T610/Digital combination,..it works this way :

When the headset sends a command to phone (voice-dialling), then Handsfree profile is used.

When opposite,..if you recieve a call (meaning phone to headset) then Headset profile is used.

Sonyericsson phones will, after using a Handsfree-related action, go back to Headset mode in standby (meaning saving some battery, by not "searching"/keeping the channel open, as its not necessary).

    You can have 3 pairings.
The first one paired will have e.g. voice-features, the rest will not.
If you try to pair a 4th unit, then the "software-reset" procedure set in, and old pairings will be deleted.

BTW just tried Nokia 6650 today (3G phone...quite big, but feels ok).
It works like the 3650, meaning its got Handsfree profile only.
    Works fine with Digital

Thank you for your reply. In the meantime I discovered that my S55 went crazy (I did put it in my jeans' pocket and it was rather tight) and that might explain it. So, I bought a SE T610 (not happy at all considering that I cannot upgrade the phone myself anymore). They work great together.

I just spoke to one of our engineers, and he believe, from what you tell, that the software would be the problem here.

Its a so called Timer, that is supposed to shut the processor part up and down. Its a lot of "tech-talk", hehe,..so I will not proceed further with this.

I suggest you send the unit here, and we will test the unit, and solve this problem.

Users that have bought the unit, should first of all contact the shop for an exchange if possible. Beta-testers will have to send units directly to us,..but you people already know this

    Hi Jan,

Does the timer problem affect the BS or BSD? Or both? What about the current units on sale?

    Hi Jan,

It appears that the “Non-Disconnect” issue (Larry & I posted earlier) with the T616 is not exclusive to the D-BS. I see that the same problem is now occurring with the new Plantronics M3000 & T616 combo. Along with this is also the lack of the (beep) signal when initiating a voice dial. These 2 problems seem to go hand and hand... very strange. It just seems that there’s something missing in the profiles.(?)

Any idea what might be going on here?

BTW what's the status on the Beta trade-in for the Production Model? Have other HoFo members sent their Betas units in for the trade yet?

Jan -- I want to chime in with 3vw and some theories as to what might be happening with the DBS and the T616.

Since he found this workaround -- by going into powersave in the handsfree, car profile -- it seems as if the DBS is finding its way into that profile as opposed to JUST the headset profile part of the T616.

In other threads (in the SE section of the forum) people with Jabra seem to be able to pair with the 616 in one of two ways: headset or handsfree. When paired in the handsfree mode, they have the same problems that 3vw and I are having with our DBS units. When paired in the headset mode, all things -- INCLUDING the "feedback" beep for voice dialing seem to work.

There's no apparent way (as there seems to be with the Jabra) to force the DBS to ONLY setup in the headset profile. So what's the trick here?

I just got a Digital Bluespoon from pilcon.com yesterday.

However, I think the device is defected.

The problem is, when there is an incoming call, then a tone will be heard on the headset, then I pressed either of the
Multifunction button to receive the call. After I did that, there is no sound or whatsoever in the headset, no incoming sound nor outgoing sound.

If I answer the call on the phone first, then press the Multifunction button, the sound will be transfered to the headset and it works fine.

Other than that, everything works well, I think

Please anyone that can help me with this problem, otherwise I have to send the device back, which will cost me a lot of money since I live in Asia

    Thanks ...

    @eonov

Make sure you have the following settings in your P800:

    1) Control panel, connections, bluetooth, settings, operation mode "ON"

    2) Control panel, connections, bluetooth, devices, bluespoon digital, allowed to connect without confirmation should be checked.

    3) Applications list, phone, edit, preferences, handsfree, bluetooth, preferred sound device should be set on "headset" and answering mode on "normal".

If you still have the problem with these settings, I would suggest you contact Pilcon or Nextlink to exchange your unit.

    I did everything on thread
" BengalBoy's Bible of How to set up your Bluetooth Headset. "

Well, I guess, I must return the device.

I contacted nextlink on last Thursday, however haven't got the response.

What are the support department of nextlink doing right now ???
I guess, they are too busy to talk to their customer.
