    w760i and Gmail mobile

Does anyone here have problems getting gmail mobile to work on their w760i? The gmail version I'm running is 2.0.6.1269 gorganic for Sony_Ericsson-W760i. I believe I got this app to work before debranding from Rogers w760a, I wonder if that is the problem? Right now it just gets stuck at the loading screen and I don't see my inbox.

Okay turns out it was my WAP settings for the Rogers network. My debranded W760i auto-configures WAP settings from SE, but they have the wrong proxy address for goam.com APN. For some reason, SE has 010.128.001.069 when it should be 208.200.067.150 (see post 3 here)

You'll need to de-brand the phone first. The de-branded firmware has a whole built in e-mail client which has IMAP and push support.

I actually do have the phone debranded and am trying to get the emain client to work with Gmail but I'm having trouble. It seems to be able to auto-detect the correct IMAP settings, but every time I try and retrieve mail I get a server error. I even tried emailing myself through the phone but it's unable to send. If you have any other personal experience with setting up push/pull gmail on this phone please let me know!

edit: I noticed you are on the AT&T network, I have a suspicion that Rogers might have disabled push/pull support on this and other phones... At least on the current internet settings I'm using.

edit2: I didn't realize that in gmail I had to disable POP3 and enable IMAP. I've done that now and deleted my gmail configuration on the phone, adding a new one in and having the phone auto-configure the server settings. But after it finished doing that I tried to check mail and it sits at Finding Server forever until finally returning with a server error.
