I took a chance and used the customize_upgrade.xml file that you wrote for Conversations view and used it on a w508 that came without that feature enabled - for SOME annoying reason. the_laser (best ever) fixed a2uploader for the w508 and it worked!!!!!!!! The w508 now has conversations view - as it should! THANK you thank you!!!! SUPER HAPPY!
ah, so it was an issue with a2uploader then.. glad it got sorted out, and its a shame SE messed up the W508 out of the box!
