Ok everyone here are some pictures! I was with my friend Friday but I couldn't snap any photos. Today however I was lucky enough for him to walk out of the room and I was able to grab a few pictures. I have two more on my phone I think but they are relatively the same. Click the thumb nails for a higher resolution.
If you guys want some more shots let me know, I'll try to get them but I can't promise any specific time for when they would be available.
Enjoy!

Sorry about that, as you can see above, Friday I couldn't get the pictures. Plus I had some things come up.
I wish the expected release date wasn't so far away. This phone looks amazing and it's just what I want. I don't know if I can hold off getting a new phone until the end of august/ september though. I wish we had a solid release date xD

Thank you for the pics. The keys appear to be well designed and easier to press than the Rival and the first Glyde.
Since the wallpaper has portrait and landscape versions, I hope that means it's one that comes with the phone. The wallpaper has a cool kinda Silent Hill-ish vibe going on.
Also, above the first row of virtual icons there appears to be a bar equivalent to the notification bar on the Versa (I think the Touch has it, too).
Huh. So the shortcut menu slides out from the left or bottom now? I think I'd prefer tab positioned on the right like the original. And why did they go back to touch to unlock? That was a pretty big issue with the original firmware--big enough to subsequently implement an iPhone-like slide to unlock in a firmware upgrade.
OTOH, the 4-row keyboard should be much better than the original 3-row - Mark

on the other samsung touchscreen phones (impression, eternity, omnia) the UI has the widgets on the left hand side
