Yeah it rolled out a couple of days ago I believe. Customers have been coming in like mad. Only thing it must be a landline, meaning no cell phones. Even if the city is on the list some areas of the city might not work.

I'm sure they will. They are probably just testing it in LA first.

yes but my sales would make up for that... think if one customer tells 5 of his buddy's that they can call mexico for $3/month and they come sign up.

some numbers for thought our average mexican customer spends $15-$20 a month on *123. We profit 25% from that; so thats like $5 on the high end. Now in a year that addes up to $60 in profit. We make more than that on one good phone sale with acc.

So if you switch a customer to the $3 month and there so happy they bring you say one customer every other month that would be close to $400 in profit. Now when that customer brings other customers and they bring other customers your 600% increase in profit equals thousands of dollars in extra revenue.

Of course you have to play your cards right and make the customer feel like there getting something. Tag line "Carlos man your such a good customer and i see you putting $20 on your phone every month to talk to your mother in mexico, i'm gonna give you this new special i have for $3 you can call as much as you want. And if you have some close friends you know spending alot on cards bring them here i'll hook them up like i hooked you up"

why must we always think the same way when it comes to business? i save people money all the time, and i guess that's why people only want to deal with me and not the owners of the stores i work for, ha ha.

Yah i hear what ur saying, and i thought the same too. but the only thing about that is, at least around here, majority of the mexicans who call mexico already have metro. And as far as 15-20 a month on 123...here they spend about that much a week
