Morals: Highly subjective and completely overrated.

I read somewhere in the forums that they cannot call the VX11000 the "Voyager 2" due to copyright laws on the Voyager brand headsets so they decided to name it the enVtouch (which is what it pretty much is). The VX11000=voyager2=enVtouch. They just had to name it something different.

I take this to mean there are ONLY two phones coming out, the clamshell voyager2(envtouch) and the clamshell env3, which are pictured in this thread.

    Hope this helps.
What you are saying makes sense.. I'm still gonna keep my eyes open for a true successor to the Voyager. The keyboard on the env2 (and so forth) is shamefully small. I can believe that LG is doing away with the nice big one on the Voyager.. but it's disappointing to say the least.

are they really doing away with much of the size of the keyboard? Idk, I mean I dont have a voyager from what i've heard people say, it's about the same size as the first one..??

That sucks...I was looking forward to the possibility of multi touch...and the UI...if it isnt even as decent as the versa...WT....???

I know it's been rumored the verizon will have an "i phone" within the next year or so..maybe that's what they're holding out for...

I was curious too, but I just realized that I would probably never text on a virtual QWERTY. If you need a real keyboard for a long message, why not open it up? That's why the inside keyboard is there.

Ah, whatever. Can't wait for this phone already (and for some questions to be answered so I don't have to look at the same ones over and over again.)

env2 and voyager.. I couldn't find a side by side comparison pic.. but yes, the keyboard is significantly smaller. The Voyager's is even a bit bigger than the env1.. just keep in mind that even though the pic looks bigger, the env2 is much smaller than the voyager.. so then scale the keyboard way down as well.

I find the env2 annoying to type on. The Versa is the the same, and it appears that the env3 and env touch are the same as well.

Steve G.. I Dont think you know what you are talking about... plus why are you speculating on the size of the keyboard based upon pictures?

From all of the 11k pics i have seen it is going to be the exact same sized keyboard.. same device basically with some upgrades, Camera, Screen, OS.....

Yup, the size of the 11k looks about the same as the voyager, except it's more rectangular and flattened like the env2, but not the same size as the env2.

I don't know any more about it than anyone else (probably less so).. but from what I can see....

The keyboard sizes look very similar to me. Don't they to you? The one on the right (env touch) looks only marginally larger.. So if the VX11000 and the VX9200 have similar sized keyboards.. assuming the env3 is somewhat close to the env2 in the size department.. then that would mean by extension that the env touch is going to have a small keyboard... at least, smaller than the current Voyager.

If they decrease it ANY, I think it will be detrimental. I like my keyboard. Now, if it remains the same size (despite what the pictures seem to infer) then I will be a happy camper.

If anyone who has seen these devices in person could chime in on the subject.. that would be wonderful

I guess that depends on the size of your hands. I didn't mind typing on the Voyager but after getting used to a enV2, the Voyager made me feel like I was reaching for keys, type on a U740 if you want to be annoyed
