Smile FREE unlocking of A2 phones

came across this software which lets you unlock A2 phones for free! folks over at se-nse and esato have confirmed that its working for them. could help out some folks there with at&t or t-mobile locked handsets (tm506, w760, etc).

Does not work with my w910i, I tried, and my super tech nerd friend tried, couldn't get it to work with it. We followed the tutorials on akshayy.org.

It's not a patch.. Fully unlocks.. took me about ten minutes top to unlock my SE TM506! Then I dropped the 13 bucks for Davinci's debranding, flashed to CinCi Bell firmware, now my phone rawks! One slight problem though if others choose to go with my method. Tmo's active sync(phone contacts) will be wiped away, I've heard you can get it working again just don't know how or want to do all the custom editing.. Otherwise I reccomend the radio is really cool..

My C905 and my other phones are already unlocked, so i did it on my W910 and worked fine . But it doesn't have the option for K610. What can i do about it? The K610 is the only phone i have that is not unlocked

I find after unlocking my W760, the battery is not lasting as long, i have to charge it every 2 days, where it was 3-4 days before unlocking.

Unlocking wouldn't have any effect on battery life.

    Hi

first off i would like to ask is there a difference in Debranding and Unlocking?
I followed the Debranding procedure and was successful. Then i saw this thread and decided to try unlocking the phone using Aerix since they have my phone on the list supported.. but once the connection has been made i get this error "536910AF005BDA74"

it said that its not supported etc.

    what does this mean?
