I'm hoping for the black! Although I'm sure I won't care either way once the phone actually releases.

Love the black on black. When I had my Curve I changed the housing to black, and lots of folks over at CB have traded out the chrome bezel and silver side buttons of the Bold to the black ones.

Why is he using GPRS? Isn't that a GSM technology?

The Tour has both GSM and CDMA technology on it so its possible to see GPRS or GSM on it.

Would you be able to use data on CDMA and phone on GSM, or vice versa at the same time?

@jorGeorge - No wifi confirmed by CX here. Also, I've read many places that the 9630 will not have the 1GB built-in memory, and instead have 256MB app memory and a MicroSD slot for expandable storage. Just giving you the heads up so you can update the original post.

    That's a big fat no.

GSM/GPRS can only be used when a sim card is in the slot. It's one or the other...

It will have built-in STORAGE memory. App memory and storage memory are 2 different things. no one has confirmed how much, but yes it has been stated it will no longer be 1GB.

According to the review on CB, it seems like it will have a confirmed 256MB total device memory (like the Curve 8900), with "roughly 130 megs free" for apps.

Unfortunately VZW doesn't have any BB's with WiFi. If WiFi is what you want then you'll have to settle with a WinMo device and if it's a BB with WiFi you're looking for then you'll have to switch carriers.

I've been browsing over at CB and there's news and pictures that were just leaked on the Onyx/Driftwood and that it's part of the 96xx series. Kev referenced BGR's site saying the Onyx/Driftwood will have a trackpad even though the pictures of the Onyx/Driftwood clearly have a trackball. The reason for this post is I'm wondering if the 9630 for Verizon will be released with a trackpad instead of a trackball even with all the pictures and video of the 9630 in action with a trackball.
