If it's really from Bell then yes, it should be ok. To be sure you could ask the seller the serial number (ESN) of the phone and call Bell to check it.

I'm planning to buy a phone on craigslist but the phone is an unlocked phone though, it is from bell.
It was used on a prepaid plan.
Anyways, sorry, I was wondering if I can still use the unlocked bell phone with bell because I am still on a contract with bell.
Sorry, I'm just not that sure. I know Bell does not accept phones that are not from bell and unlocked phones but the phone is from bell to begin with. So it is okay?

My phone, from Bell, on Bell, is unlocked. I unlocked it. It exists. It's not a Bell-unlocked phone, it's an unlocked Bell phone. I thought the OP was pretty straight forward.
Ah ok, now i get it, i guess you can always learn something new everyday
Aye, he most likely means a non "feature locked" phone, as most people mean when refering to unlocked bell phones.
If I recall, the phones themselves are still locked despite the fact that only Bell phones are allowed on the network. If you unlock it you can take it onto a carrier that does allow unlocked phones, like MetroPCS.
