    found my old panasonic FOMA p900i... worth anything ?

    From what i rememeber, this phone is worthless in NA right ? I had it cause i was in japan for a very brief period, but ended up coming back.. phone is literally in mint condition except the box is crushed cause i had to mail my phone separate... anyone know what i can do with this thing ?

    Sell it to someone in Japan? I mean, it's just a plain ol' P900i. If it was a P900iV you could probably sell it outside Japan too.

    I believe the P900i is 3G only anyways.

    Yeah 3G 2100 only without (official) roaming; with a hypersim you can probably get it to work.

    the p900iV is still worth something...a considerable price when FFVII AC fanboys go screaming and bid to colect it

    ive still got mine as well... bought it about... 3 years ago? or more lol...

    just poked my US T-mobile sim card in it and its still confused to what it is.. whats this hypersim? I think I read about somebody somewhere in california getting the phone to work, but he couldnt use the internet.. or maybe he couldnt text.. i forget..

    That's going to do all of nothing for you. It is absolutely incapable of being anything more than a music player/camera/video recorder in America due to the lack of proper 3G bands. If you're keeping it for the FF collector's value, then keep it, but if you want something that actually works, sell it and get a newer model.
