Member bcwang (in the Voyager Pro thread) alluded to this Plantronics phone number that allows you to test your headset. It immediately replays what you say back to you, allowing you to evaluate the quality of your voice/headset in different conditions. Pretty cool of Plantronics and thanks bcwang. It's a playful chick on the line too.

the United States is the land of the FREE because of the BRAVE!! Thank You to all who serve or have served and their families in the United States armed services!! Your sacrifices are NOT in vain may God continue to bless America
For God so loves YOU, He gave His only Son....John 3:16
Stuck.
One caveat of this method: Sound playback quality may also depend on your cell reception. Have crummy reception, you'll get crummy recording and playback.
Otherwise, a good on-the-fly method for outgoing audio evaluation for those who don't have voice recording built into their phones (my preferred method)!
Air goes in and out. Blood goes round and round. Any deviation is a problem.

my phone has a lousy voice recorder so the number is a God send and thanks for stickying(is that a word) it Andy
This works well, thanks to the OP.
A bit more convenient than voice recording as you get instant feedback. No button prompts or anything. Listen to short message from the cute sounding lady and wait for the beep then start talking. It repeats back what you said right away and after the playback you can start talking right away again. Definitely convenient.
That's very handy. Thanks.
Nice, another plus for Plantronics.

Is the Plantronics number down now?
It is down for me. Hm.
It seems like the phone number is down. Drat.
I found that out today... Anyone know another means of testing other than Evoca? I'm looking for instant feedback because I need to know that the sensor of my Jawbone is in the right position
seconded, the plantronics audio test number was a really great service!
It's back!! (sort of)... now it's an 866 Number for the full setup of your headset but there is still a section you can still test your headset

I'm so pissed at Nextlink
The 415-408-5022 has been taken down (was not being used much and the company hosting was wanting more money). If you own an iPhone you can download MyHeadset app. It has a section that records your voice and plays it back to you. No needing to call any service and possibly get network issues.
