    Solar charge eco question.

Just got one of this solar charge eco thing to charge up my keitai. I was wondering if I can leave the charger at the sun for a while before plug it in to a keitai?

    Thanks.

    Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.5.0.127 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/109)

Does the solar charger have a battery? If not, then leaving it in the sun by itself won't accomplish anything.

Did the charge come with instructions?

It should have a battery inside. You only plug it in when you need to charge, not all the time. The solar panel only generates a tiny amount of power, not enough to constantly charge the phone.

probably to tell when its charging, does it have a regular plug to put in your regular sharp charger?

Solar chargers.... you can either charge via sun or if you don't have time you can recharge the Li-Ion cell inside by plugging it into wall charger.

    It's all good (^_^)

I would say that charging the charger through a wall charger would be the most efficient way

Yeah the solar chargers are handy only if you're out in the middle of the countryside and there's no charger nearby or something. Although the way Sharp is going, solar panels might be Sharp's next 'super-cool-must-have-gimmick' (one summer 2009 au phone confirmed to have a solar panel charger built in), so they may appear in all Sharp's phones in a matter of months.

that woudl be cool if there was a charger in all of them . However that would be good for the emergency call. However for full use the solar charger with the Li-ion would be much better

But the Solar Eco charger take waaaaay too long to charge your phone. I rather run with the battery operated one.
