I have been borrowing a nextel phone from work for the last few weeks to test text messaging, and the last few days, it has seemed to be pretty quick, so much so, that I may switch back to boost in the next few weeks if it keeps up.
I have cricket now, and have been happy with the service, but I need nationwide, I just need reliable texting more soo...
Anyways, is anyone else still having issues with texting, or have things pretty much been fixed?
Well I just recently got my Boost, so I have not experienced the long delays that some people are talking about. However, one thing I have noticed is that messaging seems quite quick and reliable when my phone is turned on and has reception. If I am sent a message and I am out of reception or my phone eis off, I may receive the message within a few hours of turning on the phone, or I might not receive it until I am sent another message, or I might not receive it at all. BTW.. I live in the Pensacola, FL area.
Texting for me was never a real problem.... every once in a while, I would get a burst text at 2AM but texting hs not been too big of an issue.
The only thing that's an issue is DC.... there will be times when someone around the block will be trying to DC me.... I have full signal, but my phone doesn't receive the alert.
I've done a few hard resets, but still nothing.... it's weird.
Other times it will work great.
I'm in San Diego, CA...
