I followed the simple instructions from a fellow member on this forum as well as 2 boost reps on the phone.
1st: hunted down an old boost cdma phone (krzr cause it has 3g)
2nd: got new svc turned on...
3rd: waited about 2 weeks and called in and told the rep that the phone fell and cracked in 2 pieces and it could not be fixed, so I found another phone that I wouldlike to have swapped out. gaave him the dec esn and he punched it in and said nothing, didn't ask any questions, then told me to hit ##3282# and to reprogram the phone. I did and the phone worked on the spot.... simple and painless. then I waited till the 30th day of my 1st month and called in and told them that I wanted to upgrade to that $50 unlimited plan and he said ok... did it and said your all done....
it was cake... people are making a huge deal out of this boost cdma plan with a sprint phone... its simple as long as u follow what they ask... the other KEY factor is that not all reps will swap out a boost phone for a sprint phone. some will do it, some won't. Its luck of the draw on whom that personis on the other end...

ahh... that's a boost brand phone on boost iden... that's not what the op asked for...
and besides, there is nothing special about what u have there. iden doesn't have 3g, not even edge speed... its worthless 2 me.

what is hard to get is a sprint branded phone (preferably a 3g phone) on boost cdma side and getting that $50 unlimited plan.
unlimited talk, text and 3g web for 52 a month is pure platinum...! the only deal is to be sure that sprint has great coverage and great reliability where u work, live and play...
