Actually, you're "allowed" to do anything you want with anything you own as long as it does not violate US Federal Law, such as burn money.

You can clone as many cell phones you want, but there are repercussions for doing so if you're caught using, buying, or selling phones with modified ESNs.

Sure, you can get by with it as long as you don't announce it to the world, but there are still laws in place just in case they ever wanted to do something.

According to the F.C.C it is illegal to modify an MEID, for any reason. Repairing a wiped one? No that is not 'modifying'. Changing one? Whether you own it or not, whether you keep it for a science project or to spy on your wife, whether you intend to sell it or not; it is illegal. Period. I called and asked the F.C.C three different times, juxtaposing different scenarios for reasons to do so. The answer is always...NO.

If I recall correctly, the Mirror is only 1xrt so you won't get 3g data.

If you paid to have it done, those are the folks to ask. If you did it yourself, the same resources that helped you with the rest should be able to help you get data working, if there is a way to do so. Either way, this is not the thread to be seeking or asking for those answers in, this is a thread for people to state what phones they are using on Boost's service...not for asking how to get them working on Boost's service.

Well that makes sense, although if you destroy the donor phone there is no longer a clone, there is only one phone with that esn /meid // i couldn't see how that would be illegal. One phone one number on a service you are paying for.. where is the fraud or illegal activity there?

I have a Evo 4g. I've done Epic 4g for someone, a Epic 4g Touch for another person and a Evo 3d for my wife. I also helped someone do a Nexus 4g by talking him through it over the phone. He knew what to do just wanted someone to be there with him.
