    Has anyone gotten it to work on the env3 yet? I don't want to brick my phone by messing up the service menu settings

    you cant brick your phone unless you screw up 'updating' it, even then it can be fixed. its just a pain in the arse. just dont update your phone (using lgnpst) if you dont konw what your doing. other then that, you cant change anything, you can get everything to work, except the internet and mobile messaging. email app, vznav all work, when activated on previous acct. so just get someone you know with vz. and put your phone on there act, for a min, update everything then manually program back to your act.

    Internet access with the Env3 and/or Touch should not be a problem. Is the issue that you can't change the WAP settings in the service menu? If so, have you edited the fileDB with a hex editor? Or is it something else that I am missing? I'm assuming you guys & gals know what BitPim and a hex editor is. If not, Google is your friend.

    in the /browser/setting/fileDB is "srvMenuAccessable" (not sure why they spell accessible wrong) and then the value, which is a 0. Just change that 0 to a 1 and you are able to then edit the WAP Settings via the Service Menu.

    i.e. Use BitPim to copy the /browser/setting/fileDB back to the PC.. Use a hex editor and change that 0 to a 1... use Bitpim to overwrite the /browser/setting/fileDB with your edited one. After restarting your phone, access the Service Menu and go -> Wap Setting... and adjust the values as needed...

    Note: at the end of fileDB, you're looking for the hex 30 to change to 31.
    PS. Save a copy of your original fileDB file in case it gets corrupted!

    OK after hours and hours and hours i got WAP working with Page Plus. BitPim version 1.0.7xxxxxxx and a free hex editor and some research. Just open BitPim, under the "view" menu check "view file system". Read the BitPim tutorial a couple of times.
    *click "browser","setting" and you'll see the fileDB.
    *right click the fileDB and "save" it to your desktop, save an original copy in case your modified file gets corrupted.
    *open up your hex editor of choice and change the last digit from 30 to 31
    *click save
    *go back to the BitPim, right click the fileDB and select "overwrite"
    *still in BitPim click "Send Phone Data" icon
    *reboot the phone
    *go to the service menu on the phone"##program9200" send
    * service code is "000000"
    *scroll down to "WAP Setting"
    * open "Proxy Address Setting"
    * open "Primary Address" enter "ppcgw1.vzwreseller.com" click "Save"
    * open "Secondary Address" enter "ppcgw2.vzwreseller.com" click "Save"
    *go back to "Homepage" enter what ever home page you desire. click "Save"
    *ENJOY!!

    Slight correction. The Send Phone Data button just sends the calendar, phonebook, SMS, etc, data in BitPim to the phone. It has no effect on manipulating individual files in the filesystem. It's when you overwrite the file that your edited fileDB is copied to the phone's filesystem. That line should read:
    In the Select a File window, select your edited fileDB file on your computer and click the Open button.
    The second you hit the Open button is when the file is copied over to the phone.
    Other than this slight correction this is a good how-to. Well done.

    @chruspy: Yes, good how to

    @taoman54: I'm a little confused about your correction. Can you please repost the chruspy procedure corrected so I can put it in the wiki

    Download and install the latest version of BitPim
    Read the BitPim tutorial a couple of times.
    Make sure the necessary driver for your phone has been installed on your computer
    Connect your phone to your computer via USB cable. Don't try and use BlueTooth when accessing the phone's filesystem. Way too slow.
    Open BitPim and configure BitPim for your phone
    Under the "View" menu check "view file system".
    Highlight Filesystem in left panel window
    Click on "+' sign in second window so BitPim will read your phone's filesystem. This will take a minute or two
    Navigate to browser/setting and you'll see the fileDB.
    Right click the fileDB and "save" it to your desktop and then save another copy to a different location in case your modified file gets corrupted.
    Open up the fileDB file in your favorite (free) hex editor and change the last digit from 30 to 31
    Save the modified fileDB file
    Go back into BitPim, right click the fileDB and select "overwrite"
    In the Select a File window, select your edited fileDB file on your computer and click the Open button.
    Your modified fileDB file is then copied to your phone and overwrites your original fileDB file
    Reboot the phone and disconnect USB cable
    You should now be able to edit your WAP settings
    Go to the service menu on the phone"##program9200" send (this is for an enV3)
    Service code is "000000"
    Scroll down to "WAP Setting"
    Open "Proxy Address Setting"
    Open "Primary Address" enter "ppcgw1.vzwreseller.com" click "Save"
    Open "Secondary Address" enter "ppcgw2.vzwreseller.com" click "Save"
    Go back to "Homepage" enter what ever home page you desire. click "Save"
    Reboot phone
    Your phone's browser should now work on Page Plus

    Thanks for the fix Taoman. I was going from memory and my brain was hurting. Does anyone know what happens with Page Plus when you've reached or exceeded your 20mb limit?

    * If you have a balance:
    You are debited 60c/MB

    * If you have NO balance:
    According to someone who did it, it stops working. You get an error message when you try to use data.
