    Tracfone / T-Mobile $100 (year plan)

How does T-Mo $100 compare with Tracfone $100?
I'm leaning towards T-Mo cause of the selection of any unlocked phone...

With T-Mobile $100 will give you cheaper refills (of less than $100) for subsequent refills. Also with $100 in your account all you need to add is a minimum deposit of minutes ($10) and you're good for another year. With TracFone you need to add another $100 to keep a year expiration.

The T-Mobile $100 card is one year, 1000 minutes and Gold Rewards status. Any refill thereafter is 15% more airtime and one year extension of the active date.

The Tracfone $100 card is one year, 400 minutes ... but it's 800 minutes if you have Double Minutes for Life, and still more if you transfer in another balance, have discount codes and all that. The next year is $100, 400 minutes, etc.

    Regards

Personally I would go with tracfone on the at&t side, but if you want to use your own phone it goes without saying you cant use tracfone.

If you brush up on your tracfone skills and read the forums, use minute bonus codes, etc you can get your rate lower than t-mobile's too.
