It is a network issue. If you head over to crackberry forums, there is a big discussion about it. Something happened and since sometime last night, texts have been down.

I'm still having problems receiving messages I can send texts and my friends get them just fine but when I get one it says who it's from and when I go to open it the message inside says ***Not Retrieved Yet*** Estimated download size + 1K. Expires Sep 12, 2009 (at whatever time I got the message).

Is anyone else still having problems?

    The point is this:

When you have your system set up and did the MMSWifibrowser.ipd or combinded3.ipd hack it registers with your SIM as such, essentially "marries" itself to your SIM. Therefore, when you set up your brother with the hack using your SIM and then switched sim cards out it was destined to not work.

Now, once the system is working with MMS and Hotspot Browser with the SIM that is intended for the device you may take the SIM card out of your device (and use it in another phone, i.e. the i335) but DON'T turn your 7100i on without the SIM card in it. Otherwise you will have to reload the hack. When you pull the SIM card out of your 7100i be sure to leave the phone off until you re-insert the SIM card back into it. Or, if you must charge your 7100i while the SIM card is not inside it, be sure not to turn it on. If you can manage to remember this you won't have to reload the service packs even though you move the SIM card in and out of the unit constantly.

Hello everyone. All of your help has been appreciated greatly.

I need a little bit more help.
Is there a way to sync the 7100i with Outlook using the Desktop manager, without having to purchase a seperate program?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, as is all help I have received on here.

    Thank you in advance,
    Jessi

I'm curious about the contact dialing issue and the country code. Has anyone tried re-entering the numbers directly on the BB and stored them in the phone and not the SIM card? Does it fix the issue or is it another problem altogether with the Boost hacks?

The contact dialing issue is simply smart dialing.... Boost does not allow 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx only xxx-xxx-xxxx
