    For 5310 owners...

After a few weeks of consideration, I headed to the store the other day to get a 5310. At the last hour, I changed my mind and got the G1 (my daughters have one). It was impulsive, but they seem to enjoy their G1 so much I got one. I've decided it's a little big for me and has more features than I need. But before I exchange it for the 5310, can you give me any advice? Should I do this? Is the small screen too small? Are the keys too small and/or difficult to text on? Also, I have a 5310, and a light will flash when a call or text is missed; does the 5310 have any of these features? Any advice or opinions on this phone would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

I've had a 5310 since last November. I really like it because it's thin and light. The series 40 OS works as I've expected other series 40 devices.

I do not use it for the music function since I already have an iPod Nano.

You say the screen is too small. What will you be using it for? As far as the net it's only really usable for WAP pages.

There is no "flashing" light or other notification. On the display you will see an envelope icon if you have a message waiting. If a voicemail is waiting you will see o__o icon as well as a message on the screen that you have a voice message waiting.

The keys are small and you'll get best operation if you use a fingernail to press keys.

Thank you, Telekom. I really like the look of the phone and I've checked out the screen size since this post and I think it's just fine. It actually has really nice color to it. I tried the keys and, yes, you do have to use your fingernails. Like you, I have my Nano, but maybe for fun I can put a few songs on it, so that won't be a big factor.

I appreciate your help, and I think this phone just might work out for me!
