Just wanted to post this information. If you switch from Fido to Rogers you are not charged a ECF but you will be charged $100 migration fee. This is directly from the Rogers I called today.
Is it necessary for me to have been in my contract for a year, just with the carrier for a year, or none of the above?
3 conditions to waive the early cancellation fee (ECF):
1) You must have been with Fido for at least one year
2) Your NAME on the Rogers account must be exactly the same
3) Your PHONE number must be ported from Fido to Roger (no change in number)
