    sh906i problem

    hey guys:

new to this forum. been having problem with the sh906i my girlfriend sent me. she bought this one in china and could use it with a hypersim. so she sent me the phone along with 2 different hypersims she bought in china, in case one of them doesn't work. but it turns out with one of them, i could only receive phone calls, when dialing, keep getting this message of "set limit charge exceeded". so i tried the other one, and this time i could only make phone calls but could't receive any phone calls. i did some research before posting, it seems that i need to buy a inex hypersim, so if someone could tell my where i can get that, i'd really appreciate it. or if you guys know how to solve my problem, that would be great. btw, i live in los angeles and carrier is t-mobile. hope you guys can help me. thank you so much.

Or you can use the iSmart'09 chips that are pre-programmed and work with T-Mobile

    It's all good (^_^)

2G is GSM/GPRS...there is a setting in the "settings" section of your phone (Possibly under "international roaming" or the like) that lets you chose between AUTO, 3G, or GSM/GPRS. Choose GSM/GPRS.

Stuff like this is all over the forum and Wikipedia. XD

Well yeah...after you get another hypersim made for your area. Don't expect a hypersim made for the Chinese regions to work with a U.S. carrier perfectly. Plus, like AW said it might not be programmed correctly...

Just making sure, but did you try doing CPR? That could be your entire problem too.

what hyper-sim you are now using ?
still can only make call but can't receive ?

try using your "CPR" phone and make sure both call in and out works
