Those Page Plus phones that are approved for WAP - the Motorola E815, V710
and V3c / LG VX5200 and VX6100 - will arrive with the correct WAP settings
already configured in the handset.
Here are the generic settings for WAP -
For the LG’s, you would access this information by first accessing the
programming (MENU “0”). You would then navigate to “WAP Setting”. You will
be checking the following -
PROXY ADDRESS SETTING – When you choose this, you will see both PRIMARY
ADDRESS and SECONDARY ADDRESS. The PRIMARY ADDRESS should be set to
ppcgw1.vzwreseller.com and the SECONDARY ADDRESS should be set to
ppcgw2.vzwreseller.com.
PROXY PORT SETTING – When you choose this, you will see PRIMARY PORT,
PRIMARY LXL PORT, SECONDARY PORT and SECONDARY LXL PORT. Both “PORTS”
should be set to 8080 and both “LXL PORTS” should be set to 443.
USER PASSWORD – This should be set to “vzw”.

For the Motorola’s, you would access the programming using the “MENU
073887*” sequence and then navigate to “Web Sessions”.
The proper settings are as follows-

E2E PORT 2 - This should be set to “8080”.
