Page Plus WAP settings

I purchased a Nokia 2705 from a Page Plus dealer. However, is a Verizon phone, which will not allow me to access Page Plus apps pages, the web, or anything other than using the phone for calls & texts. I was told by Page Plus that codes in the phone can be changed, but I haven't a clue what to do/change/delete, etc. PLEASE HELP!!

any know of a way i can get this working. just post what i must do and i will try. i have google.com as my prim 1 and 2 80 as a port and google as homepage and it works. when i go and put in ppvw as prim 1 and 2 it will not do anything. any help would help. thanks

For the LG’s, you would access this information by first accessing the
programming (MENU “0”). You would then navigate to “WAP Setting”. You will
be checking the following -
PROXY ADDRESS SETTING – When you choose this, you will see both PRIMARY
ADDRESS and SECONDARY ADDRESS. The PRIMARY ADDRESS should be set to
ppcgw1.vzwreseller.com and the SECONDARY ADDRESS should be set to
ppcgw2.vzwreseller.com.
PROXY PORT SETTING – When you choose this, you will see PRIMARY PORT,
PRIMARY LXL PORT, SECONDARY PORT and SECONDARY LXL PORT. Both “PORTS”
should be set to 8080 and both “LXL PORTS” should be set to 443.
USER PASSWORD – This should be set to “vzw”.
HOMEPAGE – This should be set to http://homepage.

I've got a moto razr v3m setup on page plus and can't get the wap to work. I had flashed the phone to motorola original and it was working fine for everthing except MMS and WAP. I assume WAP needs to work for MMS to work.

I applied the settings in the OP to my phone although my settings also included a gateway # (set to all zeros) that I did not change because the settings in the op did not mention them.

My phone now tries to connect but fails. I'd like to get into the the phone settings screen for the browser but I cannot access the browser settings any longer. Can someone tell me how to get back into the browser settings screen?

You have to use a CDMA phone on Page Plus. You have a GSM phone.

ok finally got everything working on my env touch except internet. I have changed all seetings to match the ones in the sticky. when i click on browser it goes to a page that says for internet access dial 611. any ideas?

The unlimited TnT plan only has 20mb of data. Sending pictures can use this all up. Perhaps you're out of data?

Sprint flashed phones will not activate on Verizon or PP using the *228. I have attempted this on a couple of other phones without luck. I was able to load the verizon firmware on those phones then they activated ok. I don't know your phone so your best chance will be to search for anyone getting it to activate to verizon. It may require loading a new firmware. Hope this helps

this can't be the case as i have yet to get on the internet or recieve pic messages

I am serious. I cannot find it anywhere. It is not in any of the menus, nor imbedded in sub menus anywhere. What the heck am I missing?
