First, make sure the only files your putting on are the .dd, .txt, and .gc files. If you put an .mp3 or anything else on, it will disappear.
Make sure they're going in the right location.
Make sure the text file has a space after every line, like mentioned in the tutorial.
Make sure the file size are the same in both the .txt file and the .dd file. (doesn't have to be the actual file size)
i have unlocked it everytime and it unlocks but bitpim cant read the filesystem.. i have a SCH-U450.. i got everything to work but the bitpim part..
Is the phone powered off when you're doing this? It should be off. Nothing else I could really think of. Maybe try a different USB port and avoid any USB hubs.
yeah phone off and not useing hubs.. i cannt think of anything else... well ty for all u help. i will keep tryin.. and ill let u know if anything happins......

Your post is not clear.
Please try to be as clear as possible in your responses. Type what you would say if you were talking to someone in person. Try to explain what steps you took, and what the result was.
To summarize the first few steps..
1) Install Samsung Driver
2) Power off phone
3) connect phone to USB
4) confirm what COM port number your phone is recognized as
5) open CDMA Workshop and select the COM Port. If it isn't recognized, try the next COM port. (eg. If Windows shows as COM 3, try COM 4)
6) Click QCDM
6) On the Security tab of CDMA Workshop and select SAMSUNG Default and click SEND.
When I browse the filesystem with QPST EFS file explorer, it does not have the same directories as these directions. The ringtone I purchased from Verizon is in brew/mod/10889/ringtones. I don't have the mmc1 directory or any of the others. Has anyone else seen this?
