is your phone an andriod phone if yes i know 2 ways of doing this for free 1 in your sh card make a folder called " ringtones " i iwll post later on how to do it for text message's or download the app called zedge its free and you can download wallpaper and ringtones/text tones
What are you on man? What gives you the impression that anyone here is using an Android phone? The thread title is "Samsung m540". I thought one post which was completely off topic was bad, but two is just amazing.
I wouldn't expect this to work for the Intensity II, as it's very likely the OS and file structure has been changed. There's very likely another way to get ringtones on it, but this way I would say isn't likely to work. Sorry.
Anyone know how to get the phone driver recognized in Win7 Pro ** x64 ** ?

Tried installing both the driver in first post (google'd), installing PC Studio then searching program files (x86)\Samsung, and tried New PC Studio and doing similar.
No dice thus far. What driver for 64-bit, if any, can/do I use?
[EDIT: NEVERMIND, set New PC studio to Vista Compatibility Mode, it installed and finally picked up the phone!]

Ok, I see this thread is sort of old, so maybe my problem has to do with newer firmware...
I downloaded the drivers for my Intensity, that worked fine.
I got the cracked version of CDMA Workshop 2.7, am able to connect on COM 4, and after disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times I can finally get the unlock code to work. After the password is accepted (phone is off) the phone restarts slightly but stays off.
Now when I open BitPim and hit find phone, it says "Found other CDMA phone on COM 4" or whatever, but when I hit the + next to the system files, it very very quickly flashes "retrieving" and then nothing shows up. I've done this multiple times, tried disconnecting CDMA Workshop and tried it without disconnecting, and the system files have never shown up. Does anyone have any ideas?
This is the new problem I am having, and I'm surprised no one has responded to this poster. If you guys remember I was running the Intensity 2 and had trouble unlocking in CDMA workshop. With persistence, however, I unlocked it; I have now run into this file system issue in Bitpim. Like weknowhowtolive, I would appreciate some help with this.
Hi! I have a minor problem. I accidentally deleted some files while I was hacking into my phone to add ringtones.
The files that I deleted were:
1.txt, 2.txt, 3.txt from '/brew/mod/obione/jas/index'
and their .jar and .jad files from 'mmc1/jas/content/'.
This caused my Telus Music Player to stop working >___<
If someone could please, please, please help me by sending those files to me that would awesome!
You mentioned that with persistence you were able to unlock your Intensity 2. I've ran into the same problem (with the security password) as you did, but retrying does not work. I've also tried passwords for several other SCH-Uxxx series phones. Nothing seems to work.
What did you do to complete the unlocking of your phone?
I'm afraid I can offer no advice other than to keep trying. I literally changed nothing and unlocked the phone with the samsung default password after several retries. The thing about retrying, however, is that you must reset the phone's Com port connection after a failed password attempt. I.e., after cdma tells you that the password is incorrect, go back to the com tab and hit disconnect, then reconnect to the same com port and try the password again.
When I open BitPim, everything is fine, It says Found other CDMA Phone on COM4. but when i press the plus sign, nothing happens. also, when i click show phone info, it says "phone info not available." How do I fix this?
