Quick question : i am have the iphone 3G and have the $30 6GB data plan that i signed up for back last year in August .....so if i buy the Rogers HTC Magic can i use the same 6GB data in that phone also , sim swapping between phones ??

If they'll let you, remember, people are talking about the 2 yr smartphone hup rule, so you might not qualify to get a decent price on getting one of these.

That is the same thing I ordered from EBAY for a buck... however, yours does say it is HTC original! But I saw someone posted one here the other day, that in the picture, you could see the 3.5mm adapter side had the HTC logo and looked like it still had the microphone built in, for handsfree while listening to music?

gocellular.ca looks alot like gosatellite's site that I bought a Viewsat from off of Ebay, they also were out of Vancouver... so I wouldn't doubt though that they are not selling HTC original, because the one I bought looks a lot like the one on their site. If it works though, that is all that matters.

does yours have the controls for phone calls and volume or is it just the adapter?

i ordered mine from fommy.com because the one from gocellular didn't look like the one with the volume controls.

gocellular does have excellent service.

expansys orders seem to take a while to get to your doorstep. For the HTC audio adapter I have it in my receipt and here's what the shipping notes say for each item:

Audio Adaptor - Usually ships in 35 days

Sleeve - Usually ships in 5 days

Case - Usually ships in 10 days

Battery Cover - Usually ships in 35 days.

"Usually ships in 35 days" What the hell is that? Some service they got going on there...

When the 6gig iPhone plan came out, you were able to get it on other smart phones as well...this is what I did and got it for my Rogers HTC Touch. I ended up buying a Magic and was told I can use the same 6gig plan no problem. It's the same 6gig plan they reintroduced when the Dream and Magic got released so I don't see what the problem would be.

Well I got my cheapo Ebay case in today as well as my invisible shield. I will apply the shield tonight so I can leave the phone turned off.

The case is pretty much exactally what you'd expcet for $9 shipped. I wish the clip would swivel more easily but I guess it's a good thing that it does not. It look rather bulky attached to my belt, but the phone always looked odd in my pocket.(No I'm not just happy to see you!)

anybody who ordered a full body invisibleSHIELD from Zagg get theirs in yet? I ordered mine from zagg.com a week ago and I noticed it's on backorder.

I didn't order the full body, but I did order the screen on Sunday June 7th and just got it in today. It was the easiest screen install yet(I've done BB Bold and Zune)

i am thinking the dimensions on this are nearly identicle to the treo ect, and that any high end holster will fit these phones . anyone have any others to compare to ?
