Exactly as I feel the same and to date IMO LG is still nowhere near as good as Moto is even on there low end phones.
Speaking for myself I'd rather have my money go to an American company then some overseas company any chance I get. They (overseas) get enough of our money these days in most everything else we buy. And heck even if it means a few extra bucks I still spend it so it goes to the American company.

Nice sentiment, but my VU30 was made in China.

One is central direction involving the use of coercion - the technique of the army and of the modern totalitarian state. Trust me when I say I'd rather give my money to Motorola being an American company but how an I when they don't release the same quality phones they release elsewhere? Then people say they're losing market share like there's no tomorrow, well what do you expect?
This is Motorola's last chance in the US to show every person here that they can still compete with other brands in innovation and features. It's a blessing that they chose Android over a proprietary OS.
Okay off-topic, my last post I swear.
The Voyager had known reception issues, that's a fact and considering the enV2 was released AFTER the Voyager it is reasonable to think that it has better radio reception than the Voyager and I receive better service with the enV2 than I did with my V3c and K1m.
True, they are of high quality. LG has definitely improved in that department and the enV2 can stand up to the E815.
Oh, please. You're kidding yourself. No LG product has ever come close to a properly functioning E815 in the reception department. I can say this with 100% confidence. If you found an E815 that has compared with an LG, it's because it's been abused and beaten. I snapped the antenna off my E815 over half a dozen times and was supergluing it back on, and when I got a new E815 I was getting -10dB reception better because of the other phone's damage. That equates to over 9 times better signal sensitivity.
As most phones are or somewhere in Asia at least. However it's not about where it is made it is about the end game of where the money goes, and being Moto is USA is gets back to them and stays instead of staying overseas. Reality is almost NO ELECTRONICS get made/assembled in the USA anymore.
I'm keeping and eye out for the Sholes since my contract is up. I want an iPhone but I'm not going to get the wife to agree to give up on Verizon so this might be a great phone to fill the gap until the iPhone is available on Verizon. (please, please, please) Plus, I know the iPhone UI from owning an iPod touch so it would be cool to try on Android for size and see what it offers.
This is probably premature but does anyone known if Android will also allow you to use the on screen keyboard in place of the physical board if you want? It would be nice to have the option.
Why don't you guys take your e815 worship to a different thread?
Thanks mick. I was trying to figure out a way to say the same thing, but it all made me sound like a jerk, which is unlike me. Let's just get back on topic.
A slice of bread will always land peanut butter side down. If, by chance, you put peanut butter on both sides of the slice, it will float forever.

Yes. An onscreen keyboard is included with the latest versions of Android
