Finally, the way I count it out, this thing will be released on Halloween, give or take a day.

    Still drooling . . . .
Teddy, I just shot that link saying "I guess there may be something on that site."

@Quickster357: I think it is the A855 from what I am reading now.

Trust me, I wasn't complaining or discounting your information. Hey, we're all in a drool over this thing, i.e. impatient for the latest info.

Yeah, never thought you were complaining! I guess what I am saying is it is easier to hunt this down by "Motorola A855" since many of us are setting our searches to Sholes.

Im pretty sure this is it on the FCC site:

    https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout =500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=593150&fcc_i d='IHDP56KC1'

Rummaging through the wlan test report I noticed that "Sholes" can be seen in images of the tests.

I searched for 2 hours last night in Google "Motorola A855" and found all the same information that we've already seen. Searched "release" and "FCC" along with the "Motorola A855" and "Motorola Sholes" searches and found nothing, lol.

I'll applaud if you guys find anything.

I agree, and that A855 name was on the float as early as July. Did anyone find an FCC page on it?

wnrussel, you can try "Tao" as well. That is supposedly going to be the name for it.

Some guy named "Verizon Tester" said that's what it was. I believe I found it on a link to phonescoop.com through Google about the Sholes.

    EDIT: found the link

    Look at question #1:

    https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/prod/oet/f...ive_or_pdf=pdf

All the stuff is locked for 180 days.
By then the phone will be out.
