I don't think this has been asked yet, but what is the music (mp3) playback quality like?
Does the player program look nice and does it support multitasking (play music in the background)?

Was just planning on asking the exact same question :P
I don't disagree. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons that this won't be a world phone.
Personally, I could care less. I can count the times that I've been out of the country on one finger.
The only reason I really care for it is that I really don't want to buy a phone now, only to be able to use it for 6 months of the 2 year contract, and I'm kinda reluctant to switch to ATT or Tmo for service.
And if that's the case, is Motorola cooking up some Tegra or Snapdragon handsets for 2010?
I was telling a friend about this thread. He says to me, let me ask you a serious question. His question to me, when is the last time Motorola sold a quality phone?
I had to think long and hard on this one and really couldn't come up with a good answer. So I'm asking you guys the same question. And for the love of god, nobody and I mean nobody can say the Moto Q.
So will the phone have eclair? Because with donut just being released, I can't imagine the phone being released this month with eclair. With an awesome looking screen like that, It would be ashame to release it without multitouch support.

Did anyone ever say what kind of battery life it has? That charging every day sux. I need it to last with minimum usage 2 days. I don't have access to power all the time. But like the rest of us I WANT this phone
I've yet to see a smartphone that doens't need to be charged almost daily. so the odds of the battery lasting 2 days are slim to none I would think. Then agian it all depends on how you use the device.

Guess it all depends on what mean mean by quality. WE talking build quality, call quality, overall quality including features...etc.
Tha being said I'd say the the same wnrussell mentioned along with the Maxx Ve besides the crappy VZW firmware it had. And seeing as you didn't want to hear the Moto Q I'll say the Motorola Napoleon ( ie Q9n or A4500) instead.
