    something fishy here people.
i hear someone has a snap shot of the tao with it showing which s/w it is........
ill ask them if either 1 of them will post there unit.i cant post mine as we know.

also it does has the 3.5mm jack on it.
Does Eclair 2.0 still have the same ugly signal bars found in Android 1.x? I like the idea of Android, but it is one UGLY OS. I really hope Eclair 2.0 does a lot to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Maybe a darker color scheme and nicer icons/meters.

Oh yea. 0.375 pounds. HEAVY I'd like to blindfold you, put a 6 ounce phone in your one hand and a 4 ounce phone in your other. I bet you won't be able to tell a weight difference.

People are ridiculous and need something to whine about I guess. Thickness, I get it. Weight? Ridiculous to complain about.

If it's heavy and thin, it's probably not flimsy.....

agreed and if you're a runner why would you use this phone and not lets say an ipod to listen to music? kinda silly. unless you're going to expect a call if you're exercising or want to see where/how far you went, but if that's the case get the nike+ thing. it's like 20 bucks.

Wow, so many posts in so little time. Last night I bookmarked this thread at page 43.

Anyways, @ kbman: I see your 1500 and raise you 1000!

@ listenman: Yeah, you really missed out not getting a Napoleon. Its build is a solid as the V3m. IMHO even the V3m felt more solid than the V9m to me.

Obviously the GPS chip is unlocked (i.e. made available) to third party apps, look at the pics.

If the one bill23 and the other early leaked info says it runs Eclair, then I am sure it will have it.

And anyone who calls himself a CellZealot is just a poser. Some poor loser who doesn't know squat about cell phones and has never in his life helped another soul in the modifying/hacking of said devices. Heck, I doubt he would even know how to setup the Moto Drivers! I don't and wouldn't dare try to say I know a guy with that name!

You don't have to put it your hand, I use the front shirt pocket test. I carry the 4 ounce phone in my front pocket and the left side of my shirt does not droop. A 6 ounce phone and my shirt is lopsided, that simple. Try it with the TP2 (about the same weight) , it droops.

    Get it?

Does this mean the Sholes will be out of date by the time the rest of the Android phones are released (by Christmas)?

Nap owners correct me. But didn't you just use the 3.5mm jack to plug in some AV cables?

Couldn't the same be done with Tao?
