I've read every page of this thread, and IIRC, no one has asked about color options for the exterior of the device. Might there be a 'bling bling' version of the device, sold only to celebrities, ballers and the like?

and the knight, if you read the posts after that they say they arent allowed to show those kind of pics, so it may have been a misunderstanding. im sure pics will be posted when they can.
I read that part, then AFTER that, someone said he has a number of photos he'll be posting tonight (right now) and many other commentators were anticipating it.

true im just hoping for the tempered glass like the iphone, which i have a feeling this phone will have. also i was looking at the size. it seems to be a very nice size similar/smaller then the env touch which is awesome for a 3.7in touch screen. Env touch (115 x 55 x 17 mm) and according to an eariler post the tao at 60.00 x 115.80 x 13.70 mm

What do you guys think of this phone hitting off as well as the iPhone, where Google/Motorola will induce continuations of the Sholes/Tao? Kind of like iPhone, iPhone 3G, & iPhone 3GS. Or maybe it's just being hyped up a little too much than it should be?

That's funny, because it was covered about twenty times, once incredibly in-depth by kbman, in the past 10-15 pages alone. I guess 'searching' and 'reading' are two totally different things, eh?

It shows GPS functioning in the UI pics alone. I guess that isn't good enough. Not to mention the last VZW smartphone with locked GPS was....what was it? It's been so long?

Will you guys read the thread before you post the same questions over and over again?

He is referring to the Napoleon, which I agree has exceptional build quality as well as performance...but he already discussed that shortly after the post you quoted.

I figure if I make fun of them badly enough they'll stop asking questions that have been answered many times or whining about not having pics But then again, I've always favored the tough love approach. If I could spank them, I would.

Look, I have been reading this thread since DAY ONE. DAY ONE! That's since June 11th. On top of that, I've been using an E815 since the very week it was released, which was in August 2005 if memory serves correctly. Few people on this entire WEBSITE have been following this thread as long as I have and have a phone as dated as I do, but there has been NOTHING in VZW's lineup for almost 5 years that has interested me. However, I am not about to whine and beg people to post pics when doing so will get them or their friends in trouble or fired from their job. Not only does that screw up someone's life over a dumb pic of a phone that'll be out in a month, but it'll screw us when it comes time for the next leak - that person won't be there to leak information and graphics to us anymore. So let's be a little respectful, here. Surely, if a guy that has been following this intently for almost 4 months and has had the same phone for over 4 years can have patience, a bunch of guys who just heard of this phone a week or two ago and just joined in this thread can do so.

SO BACK ON TOPIC! Preferably without the whining, complaining and redundant redundant questions.

I'm sure if they were up for it you could arrange something.

but there has been NOTHING in VZW's lineup for almost 5 years that has interested me.
Weren't you really interested in the Samsung Rouge? and would have got it if vzw didn't have that new mandatory data plan?

It looks like it is slimmer than my Razr V3c (14mm vs 13.7) should be pretty sweet considering it has a keyboard tucked in.

I can't wait! I was offered a deal because I am Alltel customer to move over but it is only like $50 wonder if they would honor me as a NE2 customer as I was with Alltel for ~5 yrs no contract currently.

Anyway I have been waiting to get a Droid on Verizon/Alltel forever to many friends and family on Alltel to switch to T-MO. Keep the pics coming I am glued.. And thanks everything posted so far.

Anyone need me to drive a D90 SLR to Savannah, GA...

I thought I was interested in it...until I went to the store and touched the touchscreen. What a piece of junk. Resistive touchscreens are bad enough. Do they have to be as soft as a rotten apple and as responsive as molasses? Not to mention the awful VZW UI (I was really hoping TouchWiz would run a little deeper than the homescreen), the terrible haptic feedback, the AWFUL red non-multitasking music player, the incredibly slow browser...30 seconds with that phone was all I needed to decide that I never wanted to touch or even see it again. It was that unpleasant to me.

I've never even moderately enjoyed a Samsung phone, so I should have seen it coming. The only phones I've seen that are worse are Lucky Goldstar products. I've always been a Moto guy, and this could seriously be the winner - Moto reception and sound quality, METAL build, potentially complete absence of all things VZW and still on the VZW network...I'll still piss and moan about the data plan, but now that I have a decent job I can afford it.
