Just Downloaded SWF Decompiler Premium Free Edition. Very easy to use and it seems you can replace any image in the file-I tried using a background pic I had made and it works great. I just recommend working in a separate directory and saving into a sub-directory so you don't lose any thing. I'll post some examples after I try them in my phone.
I decided to try and make my own theme. I found these icons and used the flash decomplier but its only a trial version so I cant save my changes.
y2kss66, can I send you my files and you just put them up for me?
This is a screen shot. The only thing I am missing is the home button at the bottom. I took the lines between the sections to see how they look with a solid background. And I cant make up my mind so i'll probably end up switching some icons out (like the vz navigator).
I really like that theme.

Open up any of the files from that above link with a swf decomplier and then edit the images with your choice. the icons are 86x86, bottom banner is 480x54 and the background is of course 800x480
Works flawlessly. Update mine and wife's touch with the iphone theme. We were both very impressed. I would be really cool to have the home screen icons changed to reflect an iphone theme. I also wish I could have my shortcut screen icons be more like the iphone theme. Good job on this, and I can't wait to see all the great ideas that spawn from this original work. Thanks a lot!
dam whats with everyone wanting iphone sytle everything.. why did you get the env touch.. why dident you guys just go and get an iphone? then you wouldent have to hack a diffrent phone trying so hard to get it looking like a iphone.

There's a huge difference between liking the thought of customizing your phone so it looks better, and wanting a completely different phone. Why would you even ask this? An iPhone is expensive to get and maintain and comes on a different network with different data plans and different features that obviously don't suit the posters needs, and nowhere do they express regret over not getting an iphone. That's not the point of this thread. Your ridiculous suggestion makes no sense. No offense.

Personally I think apples garbage, myself I would never own anything that looks remotely close to anything they make, but whatever others wanna do.
apple sure cant beat our max screen resolutions tho
