did you install the LG Drivers? get them here...

    http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...6&postcount=39

also dl and install the latest version of bitpim...

    http://www.bitpim.org/#download

Connect your phone after youve installed the drivers and bitpim. Open bitpim when you get there go to edit>settings, select the voyager settings. check the com port to select where you phone is and make sure the port is working.

then go to the filesystem tab in bitpim Browse to /flash/ui/menu/

select the file named "topSclassType1Sub.swf"* right click on the file name and click Overwrite. Browse to where you have your theme saved and select the file. then restart the phone and set the theme to blue inspiration. should work.

ok since you said no offencse then its cool..lol but thats your opinion i mean your right about its a totaly diffrent phone on a totaly diffrent network..i agree with you on that point.

Well, as of OS 3.0, you can, but that's not the point.

The point is, emulating something you think is cool on your real life phone does not make you a fanboy, or suggest you want the phone. It just means you think it looks nice, as Apple is known to make their products. Not coming from a fanboy, of course, I'm just saying. If someone wanted to emulate a theme from, say, an EnV3, would you berate them for not buying that, and getting an EnV Touch instead?

well kinda..haha because its like ok.. if you got the env touch and now you want to try and hack it and try and make it look like the env3 or any other phone then why not get the other phone.. again i do agree with what you said before but its like buying a hyundai and changing the logo to a bmw or lexus logo.. or getting the inside of a jag and throwing it in there.
i mean ok you might not be able to afford the real thing but why imitate somethin.. make it your own...but i dont know..thats just me i guess..

p.s. haha yea y2kss66 your right i did mean can..haha

Hello everybody. I am a brand new LG enV Touch owner and am also a graphic designer. I really like what you guys have started doing here. I would love to try to port my interface Ebonite to the enV. You can see my work at www.WinstonGFX.com

Do we have access to the clock skins, and miscellaneous bar overlays, or just the menu background and icons?

Well, while that is true, putting a BMW logo on a Hyundai is kinda different, because that's attempting to fool people into thinking you have a BMW. These people don't want an iPhone or want people to think that, they just like how it looks. It's more like putting BMW rims on your Hyundai because they look nice. Which is perfectly normal, and something no one in their right mind would criticize someone for doing.

    Welcome!

That interface looks great!! Unfortunately as of now, we dont have access to misc bar overlays etc etc...just the menu background and icons for the external Blue inspiration theme only. Just read through this thread. You could probably take some parts of your Ebonite interface and create a new theme for us!
