    GSM to CDMA conversion????

    Hi,

This may sound like a silly question, but is there any way to buy/build a SIM card that converts a phone's signal to CDMA for use on a non-GSM carrier?

I want to buy an iPhone but I'm still stuck with Helio for another year.

No. The SIM card has nothing to do with radio communication. The only way is if you somehow opened the iPhone, changed the GSM/WCDMA radio to a CDMA radio, and magically got the OS to accept the new radio. Even then, you would need to have an MEID/ESN in order to activate the phone on a CDMA network.

The tray is really a way to carry the card which holds accounting info.

I'm sure while it technically is possible, it's not in the scope for anyone here to be able to convert an iphone to cdma. Enjoy your helio.

You would need your own manufacturing lab to do this. Its not gonna happen.

Just accept that it is impossible. This is why I will never sign up for CDMA service. They march to their own beat.
