You live in Vancouver or the Carribean? And from what I know Carribean is getting 3G very soon. Either way, if you dont need it you can grab any E72 version.Originally Posted by fosstrini

Nice! Have you started using it yet? If so, care to on the optical trackpad, speed of the phone, RF and anything else you would like to add. And I have to ask, where is the phone made in?
horrayyy !!!
Ok I am boarding to Frankfurt so here is the quick rundownOriginally Posted by wirelessgal
Menus are way animated, fading between screens, much better mail for exchange integration. Camera images NOTICEABLY clearer. I onmly use edge and every revision of the E series has made edge more and more useable.
**Biggest thing so far- I have been searching for an app that contained a "Bucket" of access points that it would automatically use to connect in order of priority. This app existed and then I couldn't find it. It is built in to e72 sw, you set up "internet" bucket and put in wifi points and packet data points and it uses them in order to access the web.
Some apps do not see this bucket feature yet.
Google maps works great which I use instead of nokia maps
Roadsync works ok, needs an update for this phone
USB charging works, comes with a 6" cable instead of the normal longer one.
The headset it came with had all sorts of plastic things with it, didn't get a chance to mess with it.
Locking keypad changed from top left bottom left to top left top right, hope I can change it back..
Trackpad is interesting, works fine I will have to get used to it as I find myself moving to a different item when I am clicking down on it. may just be me.
Will play with it in excess ont he plane and will revisit when I land.
9 hours with my new toy.

The trackpad, can it used as a dpad as well? I thought I saw a video where someone was using it that way as well.
Keep on posting your findings here. Have a safe flight.![]()

let me ask something, do your'll plan to get the phone right away ? or wait for a few months (even though you've been waiting long already) for all the bugs and what not to be sorted out, or do you plan to get it anyway and just do your regular updating as it is released ??
personally of all the phones i have had (Nokia) i have never done any updating of anything on them.. and have never purchased a phone that has been released right away , whats your views on this ???
