i have a lg xenon (gr500r) with rogers and i want to be able to put my own ringtones on it i have tried numerous ways looking thru the forums put nothing seems to work. also i was wondering if theres anyway to be able to put my own apps or games onto the phone. i have the cd that came with the phone as well as the driver for the phone if that helps anybody that needs it. i can upload the image to my MU account and provide the link if neccessary.
Hay, I also have this phone from rogers and If you make your mp3's 300kb or less and send it to your phone through bluetooth you should get a promp to set as ringtone or ringer id when the transfer is complete. the only problem is that is the only time you can apply it as a ringtone because it is not saved in the actual ringtone file on the phone, just in your music list. As for the games I have not found any way except to brows to one of the many free game sites such as mobilerated though all games are not compatible. Hope that helps.

Good to know! I was totally expecting to not be able to make my own ringtones, so this is excellent news.
As for the games and applications, there is another thread explaining how to install Java apps:
I have the LGCG500 and I have the data cable but am unable to data transfer. I cannot find the CD that came with the phone, so i am kinda stuck. Anywon know where I can get the correct driver to transfer video's onto my laptop? I have bluetooth on the computer - but have not been able to figure out how to pair.
