OK, I know everybody on these forums mostly use service providers such as Verizon, sprint, or T-Mobile and I currently use Verizon myself. However, I'm starting college in the fall and to make matters easier for myself (budget wise) I'm going to boost mobile , I mean $50 a month gets you unlimited everything including minutes, text, web, and even GPS. You really cant beat that . So I have already bought the Motorola i465 (otherwise known as the Clutch).
What I want is what everybody else wants, which is to make use of there new (or old) cellphone without putting tons of more cash into it. So I was wondering if anybody else has this phone or knows enough about it to do even the simple stuff (such as free ringtones or maybe even games). If not, its understandable since barely anyone uses boost mobile on these forums (from what I know) but if any can help at all, please do.
***** mediapal will let you upload pics that can be used as desktops for the clutch. i tried ringtones and games but they don't take. maybe because i'm using a sprint cable?

I highly doubt that it would have anything to do with it being a sprint cable (as long as it fits that is). Have you tried downloading apps, games, ring tones, or even pictures from the mobile web browser?
Ok i been everywhere and tried everything but i cannot get my comp to recognize my Clutch (via USB) i downloaded all the drivers from motorola.com and motodev.com but its still not recognized.Yes i tried all the troubleshooting steps about 20 times and still nothing i know it is connected to my comp because it charges it but it is still not recognized by my comp.if any1 has any idea of what drivers i need or if you can think of something i may be missing please do tell. btw iam using the boostmobile model and my comp is using XP(sp5)
Other than this problem i love the phone it feels great in ur hand.texting is a bit troubling at first but when u get use to it i can prolly type just as fast as on my blackberry.Wow talk about durabitlity i have only had the phone about 2 weeks i have already managed to jam it in my car door twice and dropped it counless times it barely has even a scratch.only real downside is the un-upgraded web browser other than that no complaints.

Here's how I get free wallpaper on my phones. I do a search on google for a image, snap a pic of it w/my phone, then go into the media or gallery and select the pic for my wallpaper.
