Had many request from the another forum, so here's the SPC location for the PALM Pre. I'll keep this thread updated with a guide and all that stuff, all I ask is that no one takes credit, enjoy! (use CDMA workshop to do the rest)

Thanks to BEEZLEWAXIN for updating his PALM friendly drivers.

Many requests have been coming in, all we ask is no claims guide/driver as theirs... here's a guide to retrieve SPC/MSL for the Palm Pre. Also enables DIAG/Passthrough mode on the phone for you and DUN/Modem Ports.

Scan Memory Address: 0x00A50000-0x00A60000

Method 1

1) Bypass Activation/Activate and Root phone if you haven't by now.. there's several methods, search or visit: http://predev.wikidot.com/

2) Establish a telnet connection as root and enter the following command:
mpt 0d

3) Right away your PC will detect two new devices (ports). Use the easy and custom Pre drivers by beezlewaxin.

4) CDMA Workshop, UniCDMA, QPST, QXDM, etc should now detect the phone at the serial/diagnostic port without issues.

5) Use universal RAM method to retrieve the SPC at the above range.

tonycortes, thanks to you I already detect witn cdmaworshop my palm pre, but I know my skills are really down, I can´t find how to scan memory and get a file like unidcdma, I don´t use unidcdma cause doesn´t have the port I need

You can change the port through device manager to the one you desire....

Now I have my line on my palmpre, I can do and received calls and sms.

When I try to surf appears me: "you have to enable networking" <--- any idea?

tethering is working fine too, just connected to it and getting so far 100kbs up and down, working on it more. use the modem port and the usual cricket login
