i'm in a NYC (i2k) market. they added it for me. easy as cake.

now i gotta figure out what the hell to do with EN! i dont even have a date cable yet. she said to go my the mobile office kit with bundled software. do i really need to do that or can i just get a cheapo data cable and download the drivers?

I put the Verizon Dialer in an FTP of mine if people want it (not sure if that is legal or not.. but whatever).

Thanks for sticking this on a server. Hope you don't get into trouble. Using the verizon dialer to setup the connection is a piece of cake and I'm getting a much better connection than I was with my manual setup. This works great with the radio shack/futuredial cable and T720.

Getting EN for free was not what Verizon intended when they started attaching EN code on new activations. It was basically there for the upcoming switch over on Mobile Web and GIN to 3G system. By product of it is you can get free EN by using just your airtime at this time. So basically, enjoy it while you can because it could end at any time as Verizon is aware they are losing a ton of revenue off it right now and are working on a fix.

BTW i live in Upstate NY... im still confused about how to get i working on the computer.. looks like im goin to radioshaft tonight to get a new data cable because i cant find my future dial one... so thats the drivers im working with.... i know how to get my cell phone set up as a 14.4 modem but how do I get it to work with the verizon dialer???

Well, I just violated my Agency's IT policy and downloaded the dialer from the FTP server.

I understand what I need to say to the CSRs.....

But, do ya'll think it's possible to get the Radio Shack cable to work with a vx4400 on my wife's laptop running WinMe?

Please say "yes."

Get the cable, download and install the futuredial driver, then download and install the Verizon dialer from one of the ftp sites listed. The dialer will setup your phone as a modem on your computer and setup the QNC and EN connections as well. You should be in business after that.

Ok, second call went to CS->Tech->CS->Tech+CS whew! 40 min later....

I am on the Vision Billing System in Bay Area, CA (CS from Phoenix)

The code was #47769. The description was "Perfect for the customer who wants to equally use their minutes for talk time and express network." I was also told this is available only on America's Choice Plans after June 2. I confirmed, no additional charge, no plan change either, my nights stay at 8pm.....

now to go home and see if it actually works

My PC will not recognize my modem!!! I got the verizon dialer software and still no luck. Is it cuz im running ME? Help please!

AWWW rats!!!!!! Verizon just told me it wont work with the A530 yet, the "Official" cable is not out yet, and the A310 wont work, that explains a lot!!!
