Thanks for catching that. I will fix it in the next build.
Did everything sync ok from the phone (contacts should show up in Address Book, notes in Mail, and Calendars in iCal)? I am especially interested in groups syncing since I could have mistyped the file format specifier for your phone.

Well I edited my post before, but I'll post again
Calendar events were synced to iCal
I don't have any notes for Mail.. so I didn't check there.
Contacts were NOT synced with Address Book. Nothing there.

I'll e-mail you the console msgs.
Hmm, the phonebook didn't load. I will look into this later today. For now I recommend restoring from the backup just in case vxSync overwrote any of your contacts.
New build (013):
- Phonebooks on older phones should now work: tested with VX-9700.
- Fixed typos in the names of the VX-9100 and VX-9600 (delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.mysoft.vxSync.plist if you have one of these phones).
- Possibly fixed a bug where the count selector is sent to an NSString object (can't test this).
** Another post: its times like this I wish howardforums didn't lock edits on posts as fast as it does. Could keep the releases in I post if it didn't. **

suggestions?
Sounds similar to a problem a couple of people have reported. Are there any messages in the console?
sent you an email eno with messages in console. hope that helps.
Have you tried adding the device while it is in charging more (turn the phone off while it is connected via USB) or simply rebooting the phone? Sometimes LG phones can get into a mode where they refuse to talk over the diagnostics interface.
I will look into the autorelease pool error messages (if vxSync is producing them I will fix them in a later build).
so, i don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but my phone is not being recognized after 'adding' it to the list.
vxSync will find it, i'll click add, and nothing appears in the left panel for me to select.
i had it working once, backed up my files, clicked 'sync now', and then it quit 'unexpectedly'.
nothing was erased from my phone though, so that's a plus...

any ideas, eno?
Are there any errors in the console? If not try killing Library/Preferences/com.mysoft.vxSync.plist and readding the device.

not sure if this is the correct report, but...

If anyone is having trouble with vxSync detecting their phone I have a fix. Some phones come with the diagnostic port turned off (which will cause problems with bitpim as well). You can set the diagnostic port by typing ##lgservicemenu send . The code is 000000. Scroll down to Data-LG -> PortMap(Diag) and set it to USB DIAG.
