Hey all .... just thought I'd let you know that even though my 5800 EURO (back a few months ago) had UDP as well, it took a hard reset of my phone (AFTER the FW update) to even notice ANY changes.

You MIGHT have to hard reset your N97 if you don't notice any changes from the FW update.... (which kinda defeats the purpose of UDP, I know)

    Hi all,

Well i have to say that really was the fastest update ever i used OTA and from start to finish it took just 3 minutes!!! Seriously that is very impressive indeed especially since everything is exactly as it was before the update. Now I'm taking my dog for his run and leaving the N97 on and when i get back i will start my review.

No update for Vodafone UK versions.
Considering just changing the product code, anyone had any success doing this or does everyone just have generic handsets?

Well I'm in the UK but I have no OTA update on my unbranded N97. I'm trying to update like this :-

    settings/phone/phone management/device updates/opions/check for updates

Is this right ? and what is UDP ?.
