It should. They usually just advertise the max as the largest available at the time of announcement.

the title says it all, on the SE site it says its compatible with 8gb, but i think Sony just came out with a 16GB card, will this work with the c905a??
check out my photography page

Yes it will
SE just emailed me back about this and they said they have only tested it to 8gb, i guess they are just covering their butts!
Sony had the 16gb card out last year, I got it last November for my c905 and it works perfectly.
thanks again! i am going to hold off on it now, its a little expensive now
i will stick with 2gb, wife just gave me her old ipod 30gb!![]()
I just checked the prices, wow I paid less 10 months ago then what I'm seeing now.
Actually the Software in the C905 will allow it to take any size data card no matter what. So when a 32GB comes out, it will work. I was just at a training and this was a topic. I thought it was interesting.
Out of curiosity, just how many pix will fit on a 16GB memory stick?
according to SE a 4GB will hold 1223 so a 16GB should hold 4892 picsOriginally Posted by Amnesia Wes

For those of you using 8GB cards, are you debranded? Someone was trying to tell me that once you debrand it, it only supports 2GB.
Finally broke down and got my C905a (aka.. My precious). I have my 8GB card now and waiting for the DCU-65 so I can debrand it.
What is right isn't always popular. What is popular isn't always right.
Whoever was trying to tell you that is stupid. It will read whatever you give it, mine has 16gb.Originally Posted by RareToy
