- the ROM is now based on the Rogers August 25th update (build 2.17.631.2), which has the following changes:

* Improves the overall device functionality and stability
* Enables correct SMS timestamp
* Enables Chinese character display for POP3 HTML Emails
* Corrects E-mail client exchange Issues

1.1.6 is 2.0.0, I just didn't name the file correctly. I decided to up the version number as it is now based on a different build.

Used the one with Chinese input. My mail with ActiveSync stopped working. i go into Mail and it brings me to the screen to add new account. I select ActiveSync and all my setting are still there. I clicked save, since everything is still the same. It goes to verify and kicks me back out to the home screen.

Am I doing something wrong?

Since this is a new version of Exchange Mail, you have to follow these steps:

Settings-->Manage Applications-->Click on Mail--> Clear data

...and then set-up your accounts again.

i did a nandroid back up and flashed to a hero rom tonight to try it out, but i didnt like it and for the last 2.5hrs i have been trying to restore my user info.....with no luck. i can get to the point where the boot.img is being sent to my device, it says ok but every single time i have tried it i get a message that it failed. something about a signature verification failing. i reloaded the 1.1.5 version of your rom, which is the version i was using earlier tonight, and still no luck. any suggestions?

Since this is a new version of Exchange Mail, you have to follow these steps:

Settings-->Manage Applications-->Click on Mail--> Clear data

...and then set-up your accounts again.

Did you ever use the HoFo ROM before? Did you try wiping first? Did you install the 2005 SPL?

i have been using the hofo rom since version 1.1.1 and backup up version 1.1.5. i wiped first, and the spl is the .009 version. i get a message saying the signature failed authorization, or failed. i dont mind putting all my settings in and reloading the apps, but i had a few hundred sms that i have not backup up to my gmail account and that is what i need. can i restore with my current spl?

i have a rogers unit, running your rom ( i loaded 1.1.5 again) so my spl is .009. i have the daldroid recovery image in my memory card and in the sdk tools folder. am i missing something? thanks for your time

i have tried a couple and they both worked. just hold down the one you want and it will ask you if you want to use that profile, then let it load the settings, press home, then open your market application. i have always made sure my market was closed (using taskiller) before setting up the market enabler
