works fine for me, and i am with rogers. i use the t-mobile settings and change the numbers as outlined in this thread, then i close the market enabler using taskiller, then open market enabler to make sure the t-mobile settings are present, then press the home key, then start up the regular market app, now i can see and buy paid apps

How much space do you hys have left after the 2.0.4 update? My phone shows 189MB which is not a lot. Or do I have a lot of crap installed?

    OK, that is it.

I will not be using HoFo ROM until this odd issue with some apps not being able to download/install.

So I have decided to flash to a JaCxHero 1.7 and wow... HERO roms became very fast/smooth now a days.

    hotweiss:
What shocked me the most is that data connection is noticeably stable/better than HoFo/Ion that web browsing experience is much much better.

Remember how I was complaining about how something is fishie with 3G connection with HTC Magic? Well, ok it's not perfect but it seems to work much better! Heck I thought maybe there was some sort of 3g network improvement at that area... so I on the spot flash to your latest HoFo rom that I am having issues with apps... result is that 3g is disapointing me again.

Anyways, not sure what is different with the browser itself too but it noticeably start to render quicker. Overall it seems to just work! better.

I wiped my phone last night and re flashed 1.16 as my phone was acting buggy. After setting it back up I noticed that there were some apps that I could not download, as discussed already. I used the market enabler yesterday and I could see paid apps, but the funny thing is that today I can see paid apps without having run market enabler again and I now cannot see the apps that would not download yesterday.

MY device has been stable today, though

I think I meant to say 3G data connection (to me atleast) feels much more stable on HERO than HoFo rom.
All in all, web browsing experience is much more satisfying.

I find that 3G pretty much is useless for me. Data only starts moving when the H kicks in. Been like that forever. I figured it was the network, but it makes more sense that it is the rom, i guess.

i find that the portrait keyboard works better in every rom i have ever tried. the only way the landscape keyboard works well is if spell correction/prediction is off. it is not just this rom, and it gets worse for me when typing a comment in a web page.
