Also, when you go to Menu->Settings-> it was a list structure rather than tabbed like the Rogers' s/w version and there were still a bunch of files in the Games and Apps directories which were protected.
I didn't play around too much since the WiFi was the main thing I wanted form the phone so I went back to Rogers. Turns out, my WiFi still doesn't connect to my network! So something else has been changed that needs solving.
I just got the phone so I didn't realise you can't use any mp3 file for a ringtone! I was hoping that with debranding I could set the Internet and Streaming to use the WiFi connection instead of Data connections (I don't use data). I'll probably try debranding it again later after I find out what the real benefits are.
I'll have to try it again sooner than later I guess.
