Bootloader Mode

Is there a list of commands to get into bootloader mode for various cell phones and if so where could I find it. Thanks and have a magical day!

On MOST (not all) but most motos:

Turn off phone

Hold the * and # and Power buttons

The phone is now in Bootloader mode.

It doesn't work on the V265 I have. That is the first I tried * # power and all that does is turn the phone on. Not sure if there is another command to get into bootloader for this phone but I do know * # power isn't it. Have a magical day! Thanks.

To get that phone into bootloader, you need to short the pins just like a V710 I think. I'm not sure though.

not sure what you mean by "short the pins" which pins?

To get a Moto Q9C in bootloader:

Press 'A' and 'enter' on power up. Do not know of a list.

I am referring to the pins on the cable. IIRC it was pins 13 and 14 for a V710. Alternately, try holding * and # and then plugging in the cable.

in case anyone is wondering (and I know someone must be, as I couldn't find this information anywhere) through some experimentation the way to get into flash/bootloader mode for a Mot ZN4 Krave is to hold down the buttons on either side of the microSD slot (camera and speaker?) at the same time and then press the power button.
